SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - After a strong second round at the Desert Mountain Intercollegiate, the RedHawks are currently in sixth place at 11-over par. They followed up a first round score of eight-over par 296 with a three-over par 291 in round two. The current team leader is Mississippi at 17-under par.

Freshman Jack Ebner is the top scorer for Miami and is tied for 10th place. He shot a one-under par 71 in round one and an even par 72 in round two to end the day at one-under par. Ford Clegg of Mississippi State is the individual leader at nine-under par.

Sophomore Charlie Nikitas shot a 76 and 70 to end the day tied for 19th at two-over par. Sophomore Jack Mortell is tied for 25th place at three-over par following a three-over par 75 and an even par 72.

Redshirt senior Brian Ohr finished the day tied for 37th after shooting rounds of 74 and 77. Currently tied for 67th is junior Jack Katarincic who shot rounds of 83 and 79. Redshirt junior JD Fletcher is competing as an individual and is tied for 63rd place at 14-over par.

The RedHawks will begin the final round at 10:30 a.m. (EDT) on Sunday.
