Tennis Shut Out by #27 UCF

RedHawks will look to bounce back tomorrow against Penn.
ORLANDO, Fla. - In the first of two weekend matches in Florida, the Miami University women's team fell 7-0 to #27 University of Central Florida Saturday at the USTA National Campus. The RedHawks fall to 2-8 with the loss while the Knights improve to 11-2.
The doubles point was closely contested, but ultimately went to UCF. After a quick 6-0 at the second doubles court, the Knights closed it out with a narrow 7-5 win at third doubles. First doubles was also close, left unfinished at 6-5.
The singles session was not quite the same, as UCF took all six matches in six sets. Full results are listed below.
The RedHawks are back in action tomorrow afternoon in Orlando, looking to get back on track against the University of Pennsylvania.
