LAST TIME OUT: The RedHawks lost back-to-back games for the first time all season when they lost on the road against Buffalo by a 61-86 margin. Miami did clinch a first-round MAC Tournament bye and a trip straight to Cleveland with a Kent State loss on Saturday. Kristen Levering led the Miami squad with 16 points and seven rebounds but the RedHawks could not overcome the best shooting performance they've faced all season.

ABOUT OHIO: The Bobcats (23-4, 12-4 MAC) bounced back for an 81-71 win in Akron on Saturday after falling to Buffalo last Wednesday by a 43-73 margin at home. In Ohio's win at Akron, Cece Hooks and Erica Johnson both had double-doubles. Hooks scored a team-high 31 points and added on 10 rebounds. Johnson had 19 points and 10 rebounds while shooting 10-of-10 from the line. Against Buffalo, the Bobcats struggled to shoot the ball, managing just 20.3 percent from the floor during the game. Amani Burke was the Bobcats' leading scorer with 19 points.

SERIES WITH THE BOBCATS: Miami leads 57-32 in the all-time series with Ohio, including the last four. The RedHawks also hold a 30-10 advantage in Oxford. On Jan. 30, 2019, Miami overcame a double-digit deficit in the second half to beat Ohio by a 67-61 margin. Savannah Kluesner scored 21 points and grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds for the double-double while Lauren Dickerson scored 28 points and Kendall McCoy tallied 14 rebounds. Miami hit the 50-rebound mark. Dickerson sunk six shots from behind the arc.

LOOKING AHEAD: The RedHawks wrap up the regular season with the senior game against Akron on Saturday. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and Miami College Sports Live. The senior recognition for members of the basketball team will take place pre-game.
