
RedHawks Finish in 12th at the Colleton River Collegiate

BLUFFTON, S.C. – Miami University shot a final round of 10-over par 298 to finish at 33-over par and in 12th place at the Colleton River Collegiate. Michigan State won the team title at 12-under par while the top individual finisher was Donnie Trosper of Michigan State at 10-under par.
The top finisher for Miami was sophomore Charlie Nikitas who finished in a tie for 32nd place. Nikitas shot a seven-over par 79 and ended the tournament at six-over par. Sophomore Jack Mortell shot a 73 in the third round and finished tied for 35th place at seven-over par.
Redshirt senior Brian Ohr finished the final round with three birdies and shot a one-under par 71 to finish in a tie for 47th at nine-over par. Freshman Jack Ebner shot a 75 in round three to tie for 63rd at 14-over par. Junior Jack Katarincic shot a 79 in the final round finishing in a tie for 69th place at 16-over par. Competing as an individual was redshirt junior JD Fletcher. After shooting an 81 in round three, he finished tied for 80th at 25-over par.
Miami will be back in action this weekend March 9-10 as it competes in the Desert Mountain Intercollegiate in Scottsdale, Arizona.
