OXFORD, Ohio – The Miami University softball team (12-10) hosts Butler for a mid-week game on Wednesday. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
Last weekend, Miami went 2-2 at the Miami Invitational, falling to Austin Peay and Michigan State before bouncing back to beat Austin Peay and Dayton to cap tournament play. The RedHawks wrapped up the invitational with an 8-0 run-rule win over Dayton on Sunday. Three Miami players batted at least .400 at the Miami Invitational while
Brianna Pratt led the pitchers with a 2.17 ERA.
Jenny Vasquez led the batters with eight RBI and a 1.273 slugging percentage.
Morgan Lott rattled off her third and fourth triple of the season to tie for fifth in program history with four triples in a single season.

Butler holds a 9-16 record on the season. Last weekend, the Bulldogs played in Tampa, Fla. in the 2019 USF Series. Butler went 1-4 in Tampa, winning its final game of the weekend by a 6-5 margin against La Salle in eight innings. The Bulldogs dropped close games against No. 21 Minnesota, South Florida, Princeton and North Florida as no loss was by greater than three runs.
Jenna Foreman leads the Butler starters in batting average (.345) in addition to leading the team in at-bats (87), runs (17), hits (30), total bases (30) and stolen bases (19), though none of her hits are extra-base hits. Alyssa Graves leads the Bulldogs in the circle in ERA (2.95), wins (3), appearances (15), games started (11), complete games (4), innings pitched (66.1) and strikeouts (76).
