LAST TIME OUT: The RedHawks beat Toledo by a 65-56 margin in Toledo on Wednesday to earn back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time since the 1980's.
Lauren Dickerson tallied her eighth 20-point game of the season, scoring a game-high 28 points. Dickerson also sunk five from behind the arc and had three assists and four steals.
Kendall McCoy was a strong presence at both ends of the court, picking up a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. McCoy also had four assists, three steals and was a perfect 4-of-4 from the free-throw line.
ABOUT BOWLING GREEN: The Falcons are 1-12 this season in conference play. Bowling Green's conference win was by a 78-72 margin in Buffalo just three games ago. Most recently, the Falcons lost to Central Michigan by a 54-92 margin. Andrea Cecil and Morgan McMillen led the Bowling Green offense with 14 points each. Cecil and McMillen also lead the Falcons offense for the season with 15.3 and 14.3 points per game, respectively. Sydney Lambert and Angela Perry also average double figures with 11.4 and 11.1 points per game respectively. Kadie Hempfling is Bowling Green's leading rebounder, averaging 8.2 per game.
SERIES WITH THE FALCONS: Bowling Green leads the all-time series with Miami 50-32, though Miami owns the last four meetings. On February 9, the RedHawks won by an 82-75 margin in Bowling Green.
Lauren Dickerson led the RedHawks' offense with 31 points, scoring 17 in the fourth quarter, and tying her season-high six three-pointers.
Savannah Kluesner and
Leah Purvis also reached double figures, scoring 16 and 12, respectively.
Kristen Levering pulled down a team-high 11 rebounds. The Falcons had four players reach double figures and two earn double-doubles.
LOOKING AHEAD:Â The RedHawks are back on the road for a pair of games next week. On Wednesday, Miami plays at Kent State. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. On Saturday, the RedHawks end their road schedule with a game in Buffalo at 2 p.m.
