LAST TIME OUT: The RedHawks fell at No. 19 Miami by an 80-62 margin to conclude play at the Miami (FL) Thanksgiving Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 30. Peyton Scott led the RedHawks offense with a career-high 18 points. Bree Paulson also scored a career-high 12 points while Savannah Kluesner and Kelly McLaughlin each chipped in 10. Kluesner led the team with six rebounds.
 
ABOUT CINCINNATI: The Bearcats also enter this matchup with a 4-4 record on the season. On Thursday night, Cincinnati beat Virginia Commonwealth with a buzzer beater after tying the game with just 14 seconds to play. IImar'I Thomas led the Bearcats offense with 16 points in the back-and-forth contest that featured 12 lead changes but it was Angel Rizor (13 points) with the game-winning shot after Chellia Watson (10 points) tied it up. Thomas leads Cincinnati's squad this season with 18.3 points per game and 9.3 rebounds per game. Antoinette Miller is putting up 15.3 points per game this season.
 
SERIES WITH THE BEARCATS: Cincinnati holds the slight 17-16 edge in the all-time series against Miami. Last season, the RedHawks won in Millett Hall by a 78-65 margin. Lauren Dickerson led all players with 22 points while Nia Clark scored 16 and Kluesner scored 14. Dickerson also added eight assists in the win. This season, Dickerson leads the Miami offense with 17.8 points per game while Kluesner (13.0 ppg) and Scott (11.9 ppg) are also averaging double 
figures. Kluesner leads the rebounding efforts with 8.9 rebounds per game.
