Miami Concludes Road Non-Conference Schedule Tuesday at Pittsburgh

The RedHawks and Panthers will tip-off at 6:30 p.m. ET.

ON TAP: Miami (4-5) concludes its non-conference road schedule with a game at Pittsburgh on Tuesday, Dec. 17. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Fans can listen to the game on The Miami Sports Network from Van Wagner and watch live on the ACC Network with a subscription.

LAST TIME OUT: The RedHawks fell at cross-town rival Cincinnati on Sunday, Dec. 8 by a 68-98 margin. Peyton Scott and Lauren Dickerson led Miami's offense with 13 points apiece while Savannah Kluesner (11 points) and Kelly McLaughlin (10 points) also scored in double figures. Kenzie Schmitz led 
Miami's rebounding efforts with a career-high six boards. This season, 
Dickerson leads the Miami offense with 17.2 points per game while Kluesner leads the team with 8.2 rebounds per game.
 
ABOUT PITTSBURGH: The Panthers enter the matchup with a 3-6 record. Pittsburgh's comeback against Stony Brook fell short last Sunday as the Panthers dropped their second-straight game after going toe-to-toe with Penn State a couple days earlier. Against Stony Brook, Aysia Bugg and Amber Brown led the Pittsburgh offense with 16 and 15 points, respectively. Brown led the team with eight rebounds. Overall, Bugg leads Pittsburgh's offense this season with 15.7 points per game while Brown averages 8.4 rebounds per game to lead the Panthers.
 
SERIES WITH THE PANTHERS: Miami and Pittsburgh have met just two times previously with the most-recent meeting coming 21 years ago. Each team owns one game in the series. The RedHawks won the first game between the teams, beating the Panthers by a 70-62 margin in 1996. Pittsburgh took the second and most-recent meeting by a 75-56 margin in 1998.

LOOKING AHEAD: The RedHawks return home to host Evansville on Sunday, Dec. 22. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. inside Millett Hall as Miami begins a four-game home stand with heroes day.
