
Miami Plays Liberty in the Miami (FL) Thanksgiving Tournament

The RedHawks will face the Flames at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
ON TAP: Miami (4-2) travels to Miami, Fla. for the Miami (FL) Thanksgiving Tournament. The RedHawks begin the tournament with a neutral-site game against Liberty on Friday at 4:30 p.m. Fans can listen to the game on The Miami Sports Network from Van Wagner.
LAST TIME OUT: The RedHawks dominated UIC on Tuesday, winning by a 85-35 margin in the home opener. The 35 points allowed is tied for the eighth-fewest points allowed in program history. Savannah Kluesner set a program record for single-game blocks, recording seven. Both Kluesner (11 points, 15 rebounds) and Kelly McLaughlin (14 points and 10 rebounds) put together double-double performances as McLaughlin's 14 points was also a career-high. Five RedHawks scored in double figures, with Lauren Dickerson, Monique Esbrand and Abbey Hoff joining Kluesner and McLaughlin. Miami grabbed a season-high 59 rebounds. Dickerson leads the Miami offense on the season with 20.5 points per game while Kluesner leads in the rebounding department with 8.8 per game.
