
Nikitas Tied for Second at White Sands Invitational

NASSAU, Bahamas – The Miami golf team moved up two spots during round two of the White Sands Invitational to end the day in fourth. The RedHawks shot a five-under par round of 283 and is currently at 11-under par with a score of 565. Houston leads the team standings at 19-under par.
After two rounds, junior Charlie Nikitas moved into a tie for second at eight-under par. Nikitas shot a five-under par 67 which tied for the best round score of the day. Senior Jack Katarincic shot a round of 71 which is his second under par round of the weekend. He is currently tied for 17th at three-under par.
Redshirt sophomore Jack Herceg shot a two-over par round of 74 and is tied for 42nd at one-over par. Junior Jack Mortell also shot a round of 74 and ends the day tied for 51st at two-over par. Tied with Mortell is freshman Danny Fisher who shot a one-under par round of 71.
Sophomore Jack Ebner shot a round of 72 as an individual and is tied for 42nd at one-over par. Also competing as an individual is senior Cam Solomon who is tied for 67th at five-over par following a round of 76.
