LAST TIME OUT: Miami earned its first win of the season on Thursday, beating Prairie View A&M by a 65-52 margin. Lauren Dickerson led the RedHawks scoring with 19 points while Kelly McLaughlin earned her first career double-double, scoring a career-high 12 points and grabbing 10 boards. Savannah Kluesner and Peyton Scott each recorded their second game in double figures this season with 15 and 12 points, respectively. Kluesner leads the MiamiÂ
offense with 18 points per game while McLaughlin is averaging 10 rebounds per game.

ABOUT SOUTH ALABAMA: The Jaguars earned their first win of the season against Texas A&M - Corpus Christi on Thursday, beating TAMCC by an 83-82 margin in double overtime. Antoinette Lewis and Savannah Jones each scored 24 points with Lewis adding 18 rebounds for the double-double. South Alabama (1-2) dropped to the consolation bracket of the Preseason WNIT with a 77-61 loss to the University of Alabama - Birmingham last weekend. Lewis is averaging 15.0 points and 15.3 rebounds per game to lead USA so far this season. Lewis has two double-doubles so far. Three of the four South Alabama starters are averaging double figures as Saforia Kines (13.3), Savannah Jones (12.7) and Damaya Telemaque (11.7) join Lewis in that category.
SERIES WITH THE JAGUARS: This is the first-ever meeting between Miami and South Alabama.
LOOKING AHEAD: Miami continues road play with two road games next week. Â The RedHawks play at Eastern Kentucky on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. before traveling to Bradley on Saturday for a 2 p.m. tip.
