
Golf in 10th After Day Two of Marquette Intercollegiate

HARTFORD, Wis. – The Miami golfers shot a nine-over par 297 during the second round of the Marquette Intercollegiate at Erin Hills. Overall, the RedHawks are in 10th place at 20-over par while the team leader is Purdue at three-over par.
Junior Jack Mortell shot his second one-over par round of the tournament and ends the day in a tie for 17th at two-over par. Tied for 37th at six-over par is junior Charlie Nikitas and redshirt sophomore Jack Herceg. Nikitas shot a five-over par round of 77 and Herceg shot a four-over par round of 76.
Freshman Danny Fisher is currently in a tie for 46th at eight-over par following a round of 73. Senior Jack Katarincic shot a 75 in the second round and is tied for 59th at 12-over par. Competing unattached is senior Cam Solomon. He shot a round of 79 and is now at 16-over par.
