
Miami in Fifth After One Round of Marquette Intercollegiate

HARTFORD, Wis. – After round one of the Marquette Intercollegiate at Erin Hills, Miami is in fifth at 11-over par with a round score of 299. UCLA is leading the team standings at four-over par while Alexandre Fuchs of Liberty is the top individual at four-under par.
Junior Jack Mortell and junior Charlie Nikitas are the current leaders for the RedHawks. Mortell and Nikitas are tied for ninth following a one-over par round of 73. Redshirt sophomore Jack Herceg is tied for 19th after a two-over par round of 74.
Freshman Danny Fisher is in a tie for 51st at seven-over par and senior Jack Katarincic is tied for 63rd at nine-over par. Senior Cam Solomon, competing as an individual, also shot a nine-over par round of 81 and ends the day in a tie for 63rd.
