OXFORD, Ohio – First-year head coach DeUnna Hendrix will make her Miami debut with an exhibition contest inside Millett Hall on Thursday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m. as the RedHawks host Findlay.
Hendrix and freshman guard Peyton Scott joined members of the media to highlight where the team stands prior to Thursday's exhibition, how the new coaching staff has meshed with the athletes and this season's expectations.
Admission to the exhibition is FREE to all. Live stats and a live stream will NOT be available for this contest.
Miami returns nine players from the 2019-20 roster, including the two leading scorers. The RedHawks made it to the semifinals of the MAC Tournament and wrapped up the season with the program's second-straight WNIT appearance. The Red and White add five newcomers to the roster, including three freshman and two transfers.
Findlay opens the season with exhibition games at Miami and Toledo before opening the regular season schedule. Last season, the Oilers went 20-8 and finished the season with an overtime loss in the first round of the G-MAC Tournament.
The RedHawks open the regular season with the Preseason WNIT. Miami's first game is Friday, Nov. 8 at 5:30 p.m. at DePaul.
