The Miami University women's soccer team fell 3-0 on Friday evening to the Bowling Green State University Falcons in Bowling Green, Ohio. Friday's result moves the RedHawks to 3-10-1 and 2-4-1 in Mid-American Conference play. BGSU is now 9-4-0 overall and 7-0-0 in conference action.

Bowling Green opened the scoring with a deep strike near the top of the goal box, putting the Falcons up 1-0 with eight minutes remaining in the first half. Goalkeeper
Izzie Vaccari had five saves in the first half as the teams finished 45 minutes of play.

Fifteen minutes into the second half the Falcons picked up a rebound off a free kick and found the back of the net to take a 2-0 advantage. BGSU added a third goal late in the second half for the final 3-0 contest.
Bowling Green outshot the RedHawks 33-3 (14-0 on goal).
Miami continues its Northwest Ohio tour, traveling to face the Toledo Rockets on Sunday (Oct. 20). Contest is set to begin at 1 p.m.
