Golf Finishes Bearcat Invitational in Sixth

CINCINNATI, Ohio – The RedHawks shot a one-under par 283 in the final round of the Bearcat Invitational to finish in sixth place at 10-over par. Louisville won the team title at 37-under par while John Murphy of Louisville won the individual championship at 17-under par.

Senior Jack Katarincic finished in a tie for 16^th at even par and was the top finisher for Miami. Katarincic shot a one-under par 70 in the final round.

Junior Jack Mortell and junior Charlie Nikitas both finished tied for 29^th at four-over par. Mortell shot a three-over par 74 while Nikitas shot a 72. Redshirt sophomore Jack Herceg competed as an individual and finished tied for 39^th at seven-over par following a round of 77.

Shooting a 71 on the day and finishing tied for 51^st at 10-over par was sophomore Jack Ebner. Freshman Danny Fisher shot a one-under par 70 and finished tied for 56^th at 11-over par.

Next up for the Miami golfers on October 6-8 will be the Marquette Intercollegiate in Erin, Wisconsin.
