LAST TIME OUT: The RedHawks put up their best offensive effort of the season in a 79-63 win over Kent State in Millett Hall on Saturday. Miami tied its best shooting of season, making 34-of-63 from the floor.
Lauren Dickerson and
Savannah Kluesner each scored 19 points to lead the Miami offense while
Kristen Levering scored a career-high 15 points.
Leah Purvis also reached double figures with 11 points.
ABOUT OHIO: The Bobcats (17-1, 6-1 MAC) are tied with Buffalo for the best conference record. Ohio has won five-straight in conference play after starting 1-1, its only loss coming to Central Michigan. On Saturday, the Bobcats won at Bowling Green by an 82-79 margin. Erica Johnson and Cece Hooks led the Bobcats' offense with 22 points apiece with Dominique Doseck also reaching double figures with 15 points. Hooks led the Ohio team with nine rebounds. Ohio has five players averaging double figures this season as the offense averages 82.7 points per game as a whole unit.
SERIES WITH THE BOBCATS: Miami leads 56-32 in the all-time series with Ohio while the Bobcats hold a 21-19 advantage in Athens. Last season, the RedHawks won all three meetings between the two teams. Most recently, Miami and Ohio met during the MAC Tournament on March 7, with the RedHawks winning 69-66 to advance to the semifinals of the tournament. In that game,

Savannah Kluesner had a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Miami fought back after Ohio took a 12-2 lead early in the first quarter.
