Miami posted a 62.64 in its short program during its first day of international competition.
GOTHENBURG, Sweden – Following a nearly two-month break from competition, Miami's senior synchronized skating team finds itself sitting fifth after its first day of international competition.
The RedHawks' skated to a 62.64 score in their short program at the Leon Lurje Trophy on Saturday. Paradise (Russia) leads the competition with an 88.22 with spots 2-4 in the standings held by the Helsinki Rockettes (82.67), Les Supremes (78.50) and Haydenettes (75.05).
Miami wraps up competition on Sunday when it takes part in its free skate. A full recap will be provided on MiamiRedHawks.com.
