LAST TIME OUT: The RedHawks dominated cross-town rival Cincinnati, winning by a 78-65 margin after leading by as many as 20 points and never surrendering the lead throughout the contest. Miami had its best shooting day of the season, sinking 54 percent from the floor.

Savannah Kluesner each contributed double-figure scoring with 16 and 14 points, respectively.
ABOUT VALPARAISO: Valpo currently holds a 3-5 record on the young season and vies for a third-straight win after beating Chicago State 76-70 and Eastern Illinois 62-60 in Valpo's two most-recent contests. Meredith Hamlet leads the Valpo offense with 16.5 points per game including 19 three-pointers. Addison Stoller is second on the Valpo squad with 11.0 points per game while leading with 7.3 rebounds per game and 21 steals.
SERIES WITH THE CRUSADERS: Miami owns all nine previous meetings between the teams. Last season, the RedHawks beat Valpo by a 77-68 margin in Oxford.
