ON TAP: Miami opens the 2018-19 regular season schedule with a road game against Canisius on Friday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Koessler Athletic Center in Buffalo, New York. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN3 and can also be heard on the Miami IMG Sports Network with a subscription.

ABOUT CANISIUS: The Golden Griffins posted a 10-20 overall record last season, 8-10 in conference play. Canisius fell to Monmouth by a 58-61 margin in the first round of the MAAC Championship. The Golden Griffins return senior forward Sara Hinriksdottir, who led the Griffins' offense last season with 448 points.
SERIES WITH CANISIUS: The RedHawks own all three wins in the series with the Griffins. Last season, Miami beat Canisius 72-47.
Lauren Dickerson led all scorers with 22 points.
