RedHawks Travel To Chicago To Face Flames

Miami will play UIC on Saturday.
ON TAP: Miami travels to Chicago to face the University of Illinois-Chicago on Saturday, Dec. 1. Tip-off is scheduled for noon ET. The game will be broadcast on ESPN. Fans can listen to the game on Miami College Sports Live. Fans wishing to attend the game may purchase tickets at the UIC box office beginning at 11 a.m. ET on game day.

LAST TIME OUT: The RedHawks were handed their first loss of the season at No. 5 Louisville after a historic 4-0 start to the season. Nia Clark, Kristen Levering, Lauren Dickerson and Savannah Kluesner all scored double figures against a tough Cardinals defense. Clark and Levering had new career-highs in points, scoring 17 and 14, respectively. Dickerson and Levering each had new season-highs in rebounds. Dickerson also had a season-high four three-pointers. Kennedy Taylor scored the first points of her collegiate career. Miami outshot and scored more points than Louisville in the fourth quarter.

ABOUT UIC: The Flames (1-4) won their home opener against Valparaiso before dropping their next four games. On Tuesday, UIC fell to Eastern Michigan by a 38-52 margin. Senior guard Brittany Byrd leads the Flames' scoring with 13.8 points per game while senior guard/forward Taylor Toney leads with 6.8 rebounds per game.
