Miami Tied for 10th at Little Rock Invitational as Darkness Delays Second Round

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – After day one of the Little Rock Invitational, Miami University is tied for 10th. Miami was unable to finish round two due to darkness.
The RedHawks shot an 11-over par 299 in the first round and are currently seven-over par in the second round. Miami sits tied for 10th at 18-over par while the current team leader is UNLV at one-over par.
Miami is led by freshman Jack Ebner who shot an even par first round of 72. Ebner is one-over par through 11 holes of round two which places him in a tie for 11th at one-over par. The individual leader is Trent Wallace of Illinois State at four-under par.
All within four strokes of each other are junior Cam Solomon, sophomore Charlie Nikitas, redshirt senior Brian Ohr, and sophomore Jack Mortell. Solomon shot a three-over par first round of 75 and is two-over par after 17 holes. He is tied for 37th at five-over par. Nikitas is tied for 41st at six-over par following a five-over par 77 in the first round and a one-over par 73 in the second round. Tied for 49th at seven-over par is Ohr who shot a four-over par first round of 76 and is three-over par in round two with one hole remaining. Mortell started with a four-over par 76 in round one and is currently five-over par after 17 holes of round two. Mortell is tied for 62nd at nine-over par.
Round two will conclude at 7:45 a.m. central time tomorrow morning with the final round beginning at 9:30 a.m.
The second round of the Musketeer Classic was also stopped early due to darkness. Junior Jack Katarincic shot a two-over par 73 in round one and is four-over through 14 holes of round two. Katarincic is tied for 26th at six-over par. Redshirt junior JD Fletcher is currently tied for 71st at 14-over par. Fletcher shot a seven-over par round of 78 and is seven-over par through 13 holes of round two.
The second round of the Musketeer Classic will continue at 9 a.m. followed directly by round three.
