Men's Basketball
Last Week: Miami (10-9 overall, 3-3 MAC) split a pair of conference home games this past week. The RedHawks played a back and forth contest for 30 minutes against Bowling Green, but a hot-shooting second half by the Falcons sent the RedHawks to an 81-70 loss on Tuesday evening. (Recap) Darrian Ringo (21 points) and Logan McLane (20 points) combined for 41 points as Miami pulled out an impressive 71-53 victory over Ball State on Saturday afternoon. (Recap) This Week: The RedHawks hit the road Tuesday as they travel to Central Michigan for a 7 p.m. game that will air live on ESPN3. Miami then returns home to host Eastern Michigan on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. It will be a part of a doubleheader that sees the women's basketball team take on Ohio at 1 p.m.

Track & Field
Last Week: The RedHawks wrapped up competition at Indiana's Gladstein Invitational. In total, they tallied nine top-5 finishes on top of numerous personal bests. Accounting for two of those top finishes was senior sprinter Emily Hooker, who placed fourth in both the 200m and 400m -- the latter being a PR. On the field side of things, Hannah Falcione PR'd in the long jump and competed in the triple jump. Both the men's and women's relay teams recorded top-five finishes as well. (Recap) Next Week: The `Hawks return to Bloomington next week for the Indiana Relays.
Women's Tennis
Last Week: The `Hawks returned to the courts, kicking off their spring season at the Florida Atlantic Owl Cup. Miami put on a strong performance throughout the weekend, going 8-2 in their doubles matches and 14-12 in singles. Freshmen Lena Babunski and Priyana Kalita put on exception impressive showings, with each winning all three of their singles matches at the event. (Day One Recap) (Day Two Recap) (Day Three Recap) Next Week: Miami will begin its dual play season, playing a match at Kentucky on Wednesday, traveling to Wright State on Friday, and closing the week with a home match against Dayton in Hamilton.
Swimming and Diving
Last Week: The Miami women fell to Buffalo 190-102 on Saturday. The RedHawks led the way in breaststroke, grabbing the top two spots in both the 100 and 200. In the 100 breaststroke, Elise Campbell finished first (1:03.80) and Holly Schuster finished second (1:04.46). In the 200 breaststroke, Schuster came in first (2:19.31) with Campbell coming in right behind her (2:19.73). Kayleigh Cannon also had a strong day for the `Hawks, swimming the fastest 200 butterfly time (2:02.92) and the second-fastest 100 butterfly time (56.33). In the diving well, Pei Lin finished with the top score in the 1 mtr (303.53) (Recap). Next Week: The RedHawks men and women host Eastern Michigan on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Women's Basketball
Last Week: Miami (10-8, 2-5 MAC) split a pair of decisions this past week. On Wednesday at home against Akron, Lauren Dickerson posted 31 points and Kendall McCoy recorded her first double-double of the season as the RedHawks topped the Zips, 75-67 (Recap). On the road at Western Michigan on Saturday, Miami saw its 10-point halftime lead vanish as the Broncos came back to outscore the Red & White, 46-25, in the second half and capture a 81-70 win (Recap). This Week: Miami begins its week on the road at Eastern Michigan on Wednesday at 7 p.m. before returning home to host Ohio on Saturday at 1 p.m. Both games will air live on ESPN3.
