The Miami University Athletics Department announced a new MiamiRedHawks.com website this afternoon. Partnered with CBS Interactive, the new-look MiamiRedHawks.com will have four primary focuses: A website that fits any mobile device, quality video, interactive design and an enhanced social media experience.
MiamiRedHawks.com's responsive design will now fit into the palm of your hand. No need to download an app. Our new website customizes to any device. Just visit MiamiRedHawks.com and the browser will fit automatically to any mobile device.
Expect to see more unique and quality video at MiamiRedHawks.com. Fans have expressed the importance of video content on our site through end-of-season survey results. The new site features a video portal located on the front page of MiamiRedHawks.com to allow easy access to all videos online.
Another suggestion from fans was to give the new website an easier to navigate, cleaner look on the home page. We expect our fans will appreciate the new look and should make their experience at MiamiRedHawks.com more enjoyable.
The final upgrade is to our social media platform. Fans can still get up to the second information through Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat, but also have the opportunity to follow social media platforms directly on MiamiRedHawks.com. Tweets and posts from all 19 sports will be displayed on each of the team's specific pages and directly on the home page for easy access.
