Golf Finishes 9th at Robert Kepler Intercollegiate

COLUMBUS, Ohio ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃÆ'¢'¬" The Miami University golf team shot a final round of 22-over par 306 on Sunday to finish at 67-over par and in 9th place at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate. Illinois, the 10th ranked team in the country, won the tournament at 12-over par.
Junior Patrick Flavin had the top round for the RedHawks on Sunday, moving up 10 spots to finish tied for 22nd place. Flavin shot a 3-over par round of 74 in the final round to finish at 13-over on the tournament. Redshirt sophomore Brian Ohr also had a comeback performance in the final round, shooting a two-over par round of 73. Ohr finished at 18-over par, moving up 20 spots to tie for 36th place.
Senior Greg Conrad shot a seven-over par round of 78. Conrad finished the final round at 19-over par to tie for 39th place. Freshman Cam Solomon tallied an 11-over 82 in the final round to finish the tournament at 19-over par and tied for 39th place. Freshman JD Fletcher finished the final round with a 10-over par round of 81. Fletcher finished the tournament tied for 77th place with a 32-over par score.
Miami returns to action next week as it looks to compete in the Mid-American Conference Championship April 28-30 at the Virtues Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio.
