RedHawks in Eighth Place at Robert Kepler Intercollegiate

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Miami University golf team is in eighth place after two rounds at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate on Saturday. The RedHawks shot a 24-over par round of 308 in the opening round and followed it with a 21-over par round of 305 in the second round.
Freshman Cam Solomon leads the RedHawks individually for the first time this season. Solomon tallied a four-over par 75 in both rounds to sit eight-over par and is tied for 25th place.
Junior Patrick Flavin found himself tied for second in the first round after firing a one-over par round of 72. In the second round, Flavin shot a nine-over round of 80 to finish the day tied in 33rd place. Senior Greg Conrad shot an eight-over par round of 79 in the first round. In the second round, Conrad improved with a four- over par round of 75 to end his day tied in 39th place.
Redshirt sophomore Brian Ohr shot an 11-over par round of 82 following the first round. Ohr improved helped the team in the in the second round by shooting a five-over round of 76 to tie for 56th on the day. Freshman JD Fletcher tallied a 14-over round of 85 in the first round and followed it with an eight-over par round of 79 to tie for 77th place on the day.
