Miami Finishes 13th at Boilermaker Invitational

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- The Miami University golf team shot a final round of 11-over par 299 on Sunday to finish at 45-over par and in 13th place at the Boilermaker Invitational. Kent State, the 12th-ranked team in the country, won the event at one-over par.
Junior Patrick Flavin had the top round for the RedHawks on Sunday, shooting an even par 72. He finished the event at six-over par and tied for 26th place. Senior Greg Conrad recorded a three-over par round of 75 in his final round. Conrad finished at 13-over par and tied for 54th place.
Redshirt sophomore Brian Ohr shot a 77 on Sunday to tie for 63rd at 15-over par. Freshman Cam Solomon shot a 75 in his final round to tie for 70th at 17-over par. Freshman JD Fletcher shot an 81 in the third round, finishing 25-over par and in 80th place.
Miami returns to action for the final regular season tuneup before the MAC Tournament, April 22-23 at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate in Columbus, Ohio.
