Golf in Eighth Place at Colleton River Collegiate

BLUFFTON, S.C. -- The Miami University golf team is currently in eighth place after two rounds of the Colleton River Collegiate on Monday. The RedHawks shot rounds of 305 and 304 for a score of 33-over par. UAB leads the event at 14-over par.
Redshirt sophomore Brian Ohr had the best individual performance on the day for the RedHawks. He shot a round of 73 in the morning and 77 in the afternoon to sit at six-over par for the tournament and tied for 15th. Junior Patrick Flavin shot a 74 in the first round followed by a 77 in the second round. Flavin is tied for 19th place at seven-over par.
Freshman Cam Solomon shot an 82 in the first round of the tournament and improved to an even par 72 in the second round. Solomon is tied in 37th at 10-over par. Senior Greg Conrad is tied for 46th after shooting a 78 in both rounds to sit 12-over par. Freshman Callahan Elzey shot an 80 in the first round and 79 in the second round, he currently sits at 15-over par and is tied for 61st place.
Playing as an individual, freshman Joshua Cushing is tied for 46th. Cushing shot a one-over par 73 in the morning and an 83 in the afternoon to sit at 12-over par. Also playing as an individual, redshirt freshman JD Fletcher shot a 79 in the first round and an 85 in the second round to sit at 20-over par and tied for 68th.
