Volleyball
Last Week: Miami (16-7 overall, 8-2 MAC) upped its winning streak to seven straight with a pair of road wins last weekend. The RedHawks had all facets of their game working as they cruised to its their sixth straight victory, 3-0 (25-16, 25-10, 25-22) over Toledo Friday evening. (Recap) Senior libero Maeve McDonald checked off another significant milestone in her remarkable career as she became the first member of the Miami University volleyball team to record 2,000 career digs. She did so while leading the RedHawks to a 3-1 (25-22, 20-25, 25-20, 25-22) win over Ball State Saturday evening. (Recap) This Week: The RedHawks remain on the road for two matches. On Thursday they travel to fellow MAC co-leader Bowling Green for a 7 p.m. contest. Miami then heads to Northern Illinois on Saturday for an 8 p.m. (EDT) first serve.
Golf
Last Week: Miami earned its first tournament victory of the season, taking the Dayton Flyer Invitational by five shots over Ohio State. Senior Patrick Flavin continued his remarkable run, earning the individual title in a playoff. He now has four wins in five events this season. (Monday Recap) (Tuesday Recap) This Week: The RedHawks fall season has concluded. Miami returns to action Feb. 12-13 when it competes in the Earl Yestingsmeier Match Play in Dade City, Florida.
Hockey
Last Week: The RedHawks (1-3) played their first regular season road games via a series at Maine over the weekend. On Friday, Gordie Green posted a career night, recording five points on two goals and three assists as one of five Miami skaters with multiple points in a 7-5 win over the Black Bears (Recap). Saturday was a different story as Maine scored the first five goals of the night and ended up forcing the series split with a 6-3 win in the finale. Grant Hutton notched his second-straight multi-goal game and finished with a career high three points to lead Miami (Recap). This Week: Miami returns home for the first of two-straight series at Steve `Coach' Cady Arena when it hosts a series against UConn (Friday at 7:35 p.m.; Saturday at 7:05 p.m.).
Soccer
Last Week: Miami (2-14-1) dropped a pair of 1-0 decisions on the road. Thursday night saw the RedHawks put on a little bit of pressure, but they were unable to answer a first-half goal by the Zips as they saw their two-game win streak snapped (Recap). With their postseason hopes hanging in the balance on Sunday, the Red & White held Buffalo scoreless over 90 minutes, but the Bulls eventually struck 4:10 into the first overtime to deal the RedHawks another 1-0 setback and eliminate them from qualifying for the MAC Tournament (Recap). This Week: The RedHawks conclude their 2017 season against Ball State on Thursday at Miami Soccer Field. Opening kick is at 3 p.m.

Last Week: Miami snapped a three-game losing streak with a 24-14 win over Buffalo. In the win, Kenny Young had 125 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns, while the defense held the Bulls to just 271 yards of offense. (Recap) Next Week: Miami returns to action on Oct. 31 with a contest versus the Ohio Bobcats.
Tennis
Last Week: The Miami University women's tennis team wrapped up their weekend of play on Sunday at the Martha Thorn Invitational in Morgantown, W. Va. The event, hosted by West Virginia University, began on Friday and featured players from James Madison University alongside the RedHawks and host Mountaineers. Overall, Miami won five singles matches and two doubles matches. (Recap). Next Week: Miami will be back in action in two weeks when they travel to Virginia Tech for the Hokie Fall Invite from Nov. 3-5.
