SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - Miami University cross country began their two-meet weekend Friday at Wilmington College's Jenna Strong Fall Classic.
The women's 5K led off the day. The squad finished third behind Cleveland State and Shawnee State with 124 points. Finishing first for the RedHawks was senior Alex Cameron, whose 19:20.0 was good enough to net her 13th place. Shortly after Cameron came sophomore Regan Smith with a 19:32.4. After Smith came Morgan Pohl, whose 19:44.0 beat her previous PR by over 45 seconds. Also scoring were Christina Nash (20:01.2) and Taylor Malchow (21:01.8) who finished back-to-back 34th and 35th, respectively.
