RedHawks in Ninth Place at Golf Week Conference Challenge

BURLINGTON, Iowa - After one round at the Golfweek Conference Challenge on Friday, the Miami University golf team is in ninth place. The team shot a 295 to finish at seven-over par on the day. First place is secured by San Jose State, with the Spartans currently at ten-under par.
In individual standings, redshirt sophomore Brian Ohr is currently tied for ninth place. Ohr shot a 71 for one-under par. Tied for 24th place, freshman Callahan Elzey shot a 73 in the first round to shoot a one-over par.
Rounding out the RedHawks are senior Greg Conrad, junior Patrick Flavin, and freshman Cam Solomon. Conrad shot a 75 to find himself at three-over par. Flavin tallied a 76 to finish four-over par. Solomon shot an 80 to end the day at eight-over par.
The second round of competition tees off tomorrow at 9 a.m. central time at the Spirit Hollow golf course in Iowa.
