
Elise Campbell Makes Olympic Trials Cut in 100 Breaststroke

INDIANAPOLIS-RedHawk swimmer Elise Campbell (Marshfield, Mass./Marshfield) punched a ticket to the Olympic Trials with an outstanding effort in the 100-meter breaststroke at the Arena Pro Swim Series in Indianapolis on the first night of the event (June 3).
Campbell, who has two years of eligibility remaining with RedHawks, clocked a time of 1:11.38 at the Arena Pro Swim Series to meet the Olympic Trial time standard of 1:11.49. The Olympic trials will be held from June 26 - July 3 in Omaha, Neb. The preliminaries for women's 100 breaststroke is set for Monday, June 27 with the semifinals coming later that day and the finals to be contested on Tuesday, June. 28.
