RedHawks in 7th at Boilermaker Invitational

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Miami University golf team is in seventh place after two rounds at the Boilermaker Invitational on Saturday. The RedHawks shot an even-par round of 288 in the opening round and followed it with an 11-over round of 299 in the second round.
Junior Greg Conrad and sophomore Patrick Flavin are leading the RedHawks, each sitting two-over and tied for 22nd place after one day. Conrad found himself tied for second in the first round after firing a three-under round of 69 in the morning. He shot a five-over round of 77 in the second round. Flavin tallied a one-over round of 73 in both rounds on Saturday.
Senior Jack Sparling and redshirt freshman Brian Ohr are each sitting four-over par and tied for 35th place. Sparling posted a three-over round of 75 and followed it with a one-over round of 73. Ohr shot an even-par round of 72 and followed with a four-over round of 76. Senior Daniel Schwarz tallied a two-over round of 74 and six-over round of 78 on the first day of competition and is tied for 58th place.
Participating as an individual, senior Bud Radis turned in a three-over round of 75 and six-over round of 78 to end his first day nine-over par and tied for 63rd place.
