Golf in 15th After First Round at FAU

LAKE WORTH, Fla. ââ'¬" The Miami University golf team is in 15th place after the first round of the FAU Slomin Autism Invitational on Friday. The RedHawks shot a team score of 15-over par 299. Connecticut lead the tournament at eight-under par.
Sophomore Patrick Flavin had the top round of the day for Miami, shooting a one-under par 70. He is tied for 19th place, four shots out of the lead.
Junior Greg Conrad shot a two-over par 73 and is tied for 46th. Senior Jack Sparling and redshirt freshman Brian Ohr each shot seven-over par 78s and are tied for 81st. Senior Bud Radis is tied for 88th after shooting a 79.
Playing as an individual, senior Daniel Schwarz had a solid day with a one-over par 72. He is tied for 33rd. Also playing an individual, senior Bailey Truesdell shot a five-over par 76 and is tied for 72nd. The FAU Slomin Autism Invitational continues with the second round on Saturday.
