Miami Completes Day One of Zone Diving

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. ââ'¬" Day one of the Zone C Diving competition began with the women's one-meter competition and the men's three-meter competition in the Purdue Boilermaker Aquatic Center on Thursday, Mar. 10.
The men's diving team is represented by freshman Harrison Moncino and junior Sean Sargent.
The meet opened up with the preliminaries in the three-meter where Moncino grabbed 23rd with his point total of 267.70 followed by Sargent in 27th with 257.10 points. The top seven in this event went on to compete in the finals. Zhipeng Zeng of Ohio State University took first place with his cumulative total of 829.10 points.
On the women's side, junior diving specialist Pei Lin won the one-meter diving competition with her cumulative score of 406.00.
Day two opens up tomorrow with the three-meter preliminaries at 1.
