Pei Lin Wins Zone C One-Meter Dive

West Layfette, Ind. -- Junior diving specialist Pei Lin won the one-meter dive at the Zone C Diving competition in Purdue's Boilermaker Aquatic Center on Thursday afternoon.
Lin was seeded first after the preliminaries, scoring 309.75 points. The top 18 divers advanced to the finals.
Lin also won the finals with a score of 319.30, giving her a total score of 629.05. She averaged 51.22 points per round.
She will compete in the three-meter dive tomorrow at 1 p.m. The last time Lin competed in the event, she earned a score of 406.00 points, breaking a Mid-American Conference record.
