Miami Heroes Week - Introducing Joshua Cushing

OXFORD, Ohio ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃÆ'¢'¬" Miami Athletics will honor active military, veterans, first responders and dispatchers (Heroes) during a series of games over a cross-section of sports from November 4-12. Several student-athletes and staff, both past and present have either served in the military or worked as first responders. Over the next week, MiamiRedHawks.com will cover a few of their stories. Today we want to introduce you to freshman golfer Joshua Cushing. Cushing spent the past three and a half years in the United States Navy and comes from a family tradition of military service. All home games from Nov. 4-12 will have a Heroes theme. In addition to several pre-game and in-game highlights, Heroes and their families will receive special ticket prices for the following events, and Heroes will have FREE admission to men's basketball!
