RedHawks in Third Place at Dayton Flyer Invitational

KETTERING, Ohio - After one round at the Dayton Flyer Invitational on Monday, the Miami University golf team is in third place. The Red and White shot a 300 to finish at 16-over par on the day. First place is secured by Michigan, with the Wolverines currently at even par.
In individual standings, junior Patrick Flavin leads the RedHawks in 10th place. Flavin shot a two-over par round of 73. After 18 holes, redshirt sophomore Brian Ohr sits one stroke behind Flavin. Ohr is currently tied for 17th place after shooting a three-over par round of 74. Just one stroke behind Ohr sits freshman Callahan Elzey with a four-over par round of 75. Elzey is tied for 24th place.
Rounding out the RedHawks, senior Greg Conrad is tied for 53rd place. Conrad shot a 78 for seven-over par. Playing as an individual, redshirt freshman JD Fletcher is tied for 89th place. Along with him is freshman Cam Solomon, the two tallied an 82 to finish 11-over par on the day.
The second and final round of competition tees of tomorrow at 10 a.m. at NCR Golf Club's South Course.
