BURLINGTON, Iowa -- The Miami University golf team moved up to eighth place after the second round of the Golfweek Conference Challenge on Saturday. The RedHawks shot a four-over par round of 292 to put their team score at 11-over par after two complete rounds. Kansas leads the tournament at 13-under par.
Redshirt sophomore Brian Ohr is in 12th place individually after shooting a one-under 71 for the second consecutive day. His overall score of two-under par has him four shots out of the lead held by Daniel Sutton of Kansas.
Junior Patrick Flavin had the round of the tournament for Miami, finishing with a four-under par 68. He recorded seven birdies on the day and is at even par overall for the event. He is currently tied for 17th place.
Freshman Callahan Elzey shot a 77 on Saturday and is tied for 38th at six-over par. Senior Greg Conrad is tied for 46th at nine-over par after a 78, while freshman Cam Solomon is tied for 53rd at 12-over par after shooting a 76.
