RedHawk Men Recognized for Academic Success

NORFOLK, Va. – Miami University’s men’s swimming and diving team was recognized for their collective success in the classroom by being named to the list of College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Teams on Wednesday, Jan 27.
This award recognizes teams that achieve a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2015 fall semester. The RedHawk men turned in a solid 3.30.
Miami was one of the 547 swimming and diving teams who were selected. Over 70% of all Division I swimming and diving teams were able to achieve GPA’s of 3.00 or higher. Of all college men’s swimming and diving teams, only 43% turn in a 3.0 or higher.
