Miami Swim & Dive Takes on Cincinnati

OXFORD, Ohio -- Miami University women's swimming and diving team is back in the pool on Wednesday, Jan. 13, to swim against Cincinnati at the Nixon Aquatic Center at 6 p.m. The RedHawks will return to the water after defeating Emory, Toledo, Denison, Ball State and Urbana in the Miami Invitational last month.
Junior Stephanie LeMire was the sole Miami swimmer to win two individual races. She emerged victorious in the 200-yard IM (2:02.14) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:13.86).
Sophomore Shay Spelman, senior Michele Rielly, sophomore Holly Schuster and junior Brittany Dudzinski all won an individual event as well.
The Bearcat women are 4-5 in dual meets, with their last one being a loss to Michigan State. Their other four losses have come at the hands of Indiana, Marshall, Louisville, and Bowling Green. They have defeated Cleveland State, Xavier, VMI, and IUPUI.
