Pei Lin to compete at NCAA Championships

OXFORD, Ohio—Sophomore diver Pei Lin has had a busy semester since joining the Miami University women’s swimming & diving team in January of this year.
Lin most recently won the one- and three-meter dives at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships to qualify for the NCAA Championships in both events. Lin broke her own school record in the three-meter dive with a preliminary score of 367.00.
She was the MAC Champion in both of these events as well. Lin set the MAC meet record in the one-meter dive, scoring 334.00 points. As a result of winning the MAC Championships, she was named the MAC Diver of the year.
Lin holds the school records for both the one- and three-meter dive at Miami. Most impressively, she has won every event she has competed in since joining the RedHawks.
She will compete in the one-meter dive on Thursday, March 19, with preliminaries starting at 1:45 p.m. The three-meter dive will take place at the same time on Friday, March 20.
The NCAA Division I Swimming & Diving Championships are being held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center from Thursday, March 19 to Saturday, March 21 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
