Day One of Zone Diving Championships Wraps Up

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Juniors Michael Nash and Cole Fryman competed in the Zone Diving Championships at Ohio State’s McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on Thursday. Day one saw the final round of the one-meter competition.
Nash led Miami in the event with a 25th-place finish, missing the final round by 24.15 points. His average round score was 46.07. Fryman also competed in the same event and was awarded 29th place for his efforts. The junior diver tallied 259.95 points and had an average round score of 43.33. A diver from Indiana University claimed first place in the final round with a total score of 823.50.
Nash and Fryman return to the pool Friday to compete in the three-meter competition, beginning at 1 p.m.
