Men's Basketball
Last Week: Senior forwards Chris Bryant and LJ Livingston Jr each recorded double-doubles as Miami notched a 64-53 win against Jackson State last Tuesday. (Recap) Livingston was near perfect from the field at Tennessee Tech, scoring 16 points and adding eight rebounds, but it was not enough Miami dropped a 77-64 decision to the Golden Eagles. (Recap) This Week: Miami rounds out the 2015 calendar year with a game at Dayton on Tuesday, Dec. 22. Tip time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Women's Basketball
Last Week: The RedHawks (5-4 overall) dropped a couple of games on the road this past week. They could not overcome a tough shooting night, while the University of Tennessee at Martin hit 13 three-pointers en route to a 74-47 victory Tuesday evening. Baleigh Reid led the RedHawks with 16 points. (Recap) Miami ran into a hot shooting Michigan offense on Saturday as it fell, 97-55 in non-conference action. Reid again led the RedHawks with 19 points. (Recap) This Week: Miami is idle this week for the holidays. The Red and White return to action on Dec. 29 when they take on LIU-Brooklyn in Boca Raton at the FAU Holiday Tournament.
Miami Monday will be on hiatus until after the first of the year.
