Men's Basketball
Last Week: Miami concluded a nine-day, five-game stretch with a dramatic 64-63 come-from-behind win on Saturday against UCF. Senior guard Eric Washington hit the game winner with 23 seconds remaining and led the Red and White with 15 points. (Recap) Playing its fourth game in five days, the RedHawks were edged by IPFW last Tuesday, 57-53. (Recap) This Week: The RedHawks have a much-needed week off before hitting the road for a 1 p.m. game at IUPUI on Saturday, Dec. 5.
Women's Basketball
Last Week: Miami split its games this week and now stands 3-2 on the season.Three players scored in double figures and the RedHawks led by as many as 12 points, but Eastern Kentucky rallied from 10 down in the fourth quarter and pulled out a 77-72 overtime win at Millett Hall on Tuesday afternoon. (Recap) A strong performance defensively down the stretch and a career-high 20 points from sophomore guard Ana Richter helped push the Miami to a 59-57 victory over Morehead State Sunday evening. (Recap) This Week: The RedHawks hit the road for the first time this season when they travel to Valparaiso Wednesday for an 8 p.m. (EST) tip. Miami then returns home to take on Oakland on Saturday at 2 p.m. Both games will air live on ESPN3.
Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving
This Week: Miami returns to the pool for the first time since the weekend of Nov. 13 when the RedHawks host the annual Miami Invitational Dec. 3-5 at the Nixon Aquatic Center.
Synchronized Skating
This Week: All three teams will be in action Dec. 4-6 at the Dr. Richard Porter Classic in Ann Arbor, Mich. It is the season-opening competition for the collegiate and junior teams. The RedHawk senior team returns to the ice after earning gold in both the short and free skate events at the Anaheim ICE Championships on Nov. 15.
Indoor Track and Field
This Week: The women's track and field squad will open competition for the 2015-16 campaign at the IPFW Mastodon Opener in Fort Wayne on Saturday Dec. 5. Last year the RedHawks found success at this meet picking up 10 event victories.
