Miami University’s senior synchronized skating team is one of two teams representing the United States this weekend at the Mozart Cup in Salzburg, Austria. This is the second competition for the RedHawk senior team in three weeks and is their first international competition of the season. The RedHawks performs their short program to the song “The World is Ours” and will compete in that portion of the event on Friday. Their free skate program is an Elvis medley to “Heartbreak Hotel”, “A Little Less Conversation”, and “Blue Suede Shoes” and will round out their stint at the Mozart Cup on Saturday.Miami is coming off a solid performance at the Colonial Classic Jan. 10-11, winning gold in the short program and placing second in the free-skate event.
