Women's Swim & Dive Predicted to Win MAC

CLEVELAND—Seeking its 18th Mid-American Conference crown this season, the Miami University women’s swimming and diving team was predicted to finish first at the 2015 MAC Championships in a poll of the league coaches, the conference office announced Friday.
Coming off a second-place finish at the MAC meet last season, the RedHawks return 26 members from last season, including seven seniors.
Akron, the defending MAC Champions, was predicted to finish second, while Bowling Green and Ohio are tabbed to finish third and fourth this season.
Buffalo was picked to finish fifth while Eastern Michigan, Toledo and Ball State were predicted to finish sixth, seventh and eighth, respectively.
The women’s team begins their season on Friday, Oct. 17 at Purdue.
