Red & White Meet Set for Saturday

OXFORD, Ohio--After finishing fourth at the 2014 MAC Championships, the Miami University men’s swimming and diving team begin the 2014-2015 season with the annual Red vs. White Intrasquad/Alumni Meet at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4 in the Nixon Aquatic Center. There is no admission charge for the event.
This will be the first time for the public to see this year’s 22 returning swimmers and its newest team members: Peter Simcox, Thomas Blackstone II, Ross Rybakowicz, Sean DeMuro, Michael Heavilon and Ross Westrick. Highlighting the list of returners are Miami’s five All-MAC Second-Team swimmers from a year ago: Davis Staley, Joe Baumgartner, Jacob Prodoehl, Lucas Brock and Evan Bader.
The Miami women’s swimming and diving team also will have their Red & White Intrasquad Meet at the Nixon Aquatic Center along with the men.
The men’s team begins their season on Saturday, Oct. 18 in the Nixon Aquatic Center against Xavier.
