About Miami Mentors
The Miami Mentors program is designed to connect current Miami student-athletes with Miami Athletic alumni to provide the students with career and professional development insight. The vision of the Miami Mentors program is to assist student-athletes in their career development strategies, networking capabilities and provide access to alumni mentors serving as career advisors. The support provided by Miami Mentors members will enhance the development of our student athletes by providing them with strategies and support in their pursuit of their desired career.
Why We Need Your Help
The overall goal for the Miami Athletic Department is for every senior to have a job or graduate school acceptance by the time they graduate. This program is a step toward that goal. We would like to begin developing a directory for our student-athletes to look to as a way to begin to network and gain advice as they embark on their desired career paths. As mentors, the vision is to inspire investment in our students' growth through developing relationships grounded in shared majors, sport, professional interest, and major area of scholarship.
