OXFORD, Ohio -- Former Miami University star Chris Heaton (Centerville) and partner Aaron Fleshner finished fifth in the men's three-meter synchronized diving event at the Olympic Diving Trials.
Heaton and Fleshner performed well with a score of 1054.38, but placed well behind first-place finishers Troy Dumais and Kristian Ipsen who scored 1296.21.
Heaton placed 13th in the men's three-meter springboard (715.90).
Sophomore Lacey Houser (Danville, IN) placed 16th in the women's 10-meter platform event with a score of 531.45.
